Strictly Controversial Dancing 2
John Sergeant's decided to quit Strictly - he'll dance one last time on Saturday. In a statement he said "The trouble is that there is now a real danger that I might win the competition. Even for me that would be a joke too far." I'm sure that many people will be very sad indeed to see him go.

I think many have missed the point, it is an entertainment television show about ballroom dancing, not a straight competition. If the public want John as they see him as entertaining then they should have him, if I had voted for John I would feel really let down after paying money to keep him in. I think all the comments in the press etc have made his position so uncomfortable he has decided to leave but the programme will be poorer for it and will lose viewers - me for one!
